Der für Backbone-Netzwerke in Schienenfahrzeugen konzipierte ToughNet TN-5916 ist ein M12-Hochleistungsrouter mit vier Überbrückungsrelais-Backbone-Ports. Er unterstützt die Netzwerk-Adressumsetzung (NAT) und die Routingfunktion und erleichtert so eine netzwerkübergreifende Installation von Anwendungen. Im TN-5916-Router sorgen M12-Verschraubungen und andere Rundsteckverbinder für stabile und robuste elektrische Verbindungen. Dies garantiert auch bei Umgebungseinflüssen wie z.B. Vibrationen und Erschütterungen eine zuverlässige Störungsresistenz. Der TN-5916-Router kann mit Eingangsspannungen von 12/24/36/48 VDC, 72/96/110 VDC oder 110/220 VDC betrieben werden. Der TN-5916 arbeitet in einem erweiterten Betriebstemperaturbereich von -40 bis 75°C und erfüllt die Anforderungen nach EN 50155/50121-4, so dass der Router für vielfältige Industrieanwendungen geeignet ist.
